Ashli works in Peru, including with the NGO she founded, Mosqoy. She’s in her third year at the Interdisciplinary Studies Graduate Program and the Liu Institute, co-supervised by Wade Davis (Anthropology, Liu Institute for Global Issues) and with committee members Mark Turin (First Nations & Endangered Languages, Anthropology) and Nancy Turner (Environmental Studies, UVic). She holds a Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship, and she is a Liu Scholar and a member of UBC’s Public Scholars Initiative.
